Based in Darien, Connecticut, Patrick Gentile serves Red Rose Consultants, LLC, as president. In this capacity, he provides advisory and consulting services from the firm’s Connecticut office to corporate executives, start-up businesses, and nonprofit organizations in need of planning strategies and guidance. A veteran of the financial industry, Patrick Gentile spent 26 years progressively accepting increasing responsibility for the financial success of American Banknote Corporation (ABN) of Fort Lee, New Jersey. In 1986, he joined ABN as director of financial reporting and corporate controller, then proceeded to move up through the ranks to positions of vice president and corporate controller, senior vice president of finance and chief accounting officer, and, in his final role, executive vice president and chief financial officer.
During his time at ABN, Pat Gentile helped to launch a successful IPO of the firm’s Brazilian operations, a move that allowed shareholders to benefit from new value of more than $500 million. Among his other numerous accomplishments, he guided the company through a successful Chapter 11 bankruptcy, leaving it poised for future growth.
Outside of work, Pat Gentile has provided years of volunteer time and effort to such organizations as the Connecticut Yankee Council of the Boy Scouts of America. Specifically, he founded a troop in his hometown of Darien for boys with special needs.
